I downloaded, installed, and registered the free Mentor Maker design environment today. It took me a while to figure out how to use PartsQuest to select parts and import into Maker Schematic entry. The catch is… I downloaded five parts; one of them, an MMBT3904 transistor, worked fine, with both a symbol and a footprint… another part, BSP225, downloaded with a footprint… but the symbol was just a rectangle. Three other parts, all of them microcontrollers from Silicon Labs, gave me NO symbol or footprint… just a rectangle. Obviously, this design environment would be relatively useless without both t

Current supply conditions for Microcontroller from TI: extended lead times of 20–30 weeks expected for high-demand variants. ODK maintains buffer inventory for select critical part numbers — contact us for real-time stock check.
We've been sourcing Microcontroller components — TI and otherwise — long enough to know where the friction points are. Allocation situations, minimum order requirements, package obsolescence: these come up regularly, and navigating them is part of what we do.
Current stock on TI Microcontroller parts: contact our sales team for a real-time availability check. We don't list prices publicly because they move, but we'll give you a straight answer quickly. Reach out here.
We're not the cheapest option on every part number, and we won't claim to be. What we are is consistent: genuine parts, real inventory, straight answers on lead time, and delivery that matches what we quote.
For buyers dealing with a tricky BOM — a mix of standard production parts, a few EOL items, and maybe one or two that require import coordination — that consistency saves time. Reach out if that sounds relevant to what you're working on.
